Lama Dugh Meadows:

This easy grade trek to Lama Dugh meadows above Manali is the perfect trek for a beginner and also a weekend trek. During the trek, you will witness the snow-covered Himalayan peaks in their full splendour. ‘Dugh’ in local language means meadows. As the name suggests, our campsite is going to be on acres of lush green meadows! The campsite also provides some striking view of the entire Manali town. Imagine chilling above the clouds while the entire Manali town is spread out hundreds of feet below you! The meadows also command spectacular views of the Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, Indrasan and other snow-covered peaks of Manali region.

October 1st – Manali to Lama Dugh (8 kms trek, 5-6 hours)We expect to leave from Manali latest at 10.00 AM. The trek starts from Hadimba temple which is situated about 2.5 Kms from Manali. Today’s climb is through thick forests mostly. As one gains height in this steep climb, the distinct views of different faces of Indrasan, Deo Tibba and peaks of Bara Shigri glacier open up. In the last leg, the path turns to the right and one traverses the ridge horizontally and enters the campsite on an alpine plateau studded with thick growth of alpine flowers.October 2nd – Lama Dugh to Manali (8  kms trek, 4-5 hours)
After a hearty breakfast, explore the meadows in the morning and then head back to Manali via the same trail we took yesterday. We expect to reach Manali by 3 PM.Inclusions:
